It's in the Spring 2006 issue of Canadian Scrapbookers. This month's design team challenge was to scraplift any LO found in our SC gallery. Not hard to do considering the great stuff that gets posted here! I wound up chosing a blend of 2 layouts by Patti, a.k.a. Nitrof: "In Full Bloom" and "Flowers". I chose these layouts for 2 reasons: because I was flattered to find out that she had printed out some of my LOs for her idea binder (wow!), and also because I thought the design of these 2 layouts would make a perfect title page for my recent trip out west. I went to several places in Canada and also northern Montana so I couldn't think of a single title for the album. What I chose to do is highlight the start and end point, Calgary, but also throw in some of the other places we went to as an introduction of sorts. Supplies Used: Christina Cole for Provo Craft and Provo Craft patterned paper; Bazzill cardstock and circle chips; Heidi Swapp "new orleans" foam stamps; Making Memories "providence" rub-ons and paint; Carolee's Creations "Tiny Simple Sandra" letter stickers; Chatterbox "labelmaker" rub-ons; doodlebug "swimming pool small" rub-ons; Nick Bantock charcoal grey ink. The metal accents are key chains that I bought on the trip. I removed the actual key chain part and just used the decorative part. TFL! LOL Barb JulieS Registered: October 2004 Location: St Lambert Posts: 8124 9/30/2005 9:21am Thanks girls! To clarify, the title letters were made with Heidi Swapp foam stamps on bazzill cardstock. I cut the letters out after stamping them, leaving a border around each letter, then inked the outsides. I debated about cutting out the middle parts but decided to leave them as is. Then I just layered them and glued them down with glue dots. Et toi aussi, tu me fais voyager, car je ne suis jamais allée dans l'ouest canadien, mais un jour sûrement.....c'est dans nos projets à moyen terme.
